Design
Xperia Play may be the most heavy and thick smartphone ever produced by Sony Ericsson. Featuring a 4 inch screen with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, the Xperia Play has a thickness of 16 millimeters and weighs 175 grams, making it quite inconvenient to carry.

But that does not mean the physical form is not pleasant to look at. Like other family members Xperia, Xperia Play has a simple and elegant design.

To operate its gaming features, users simply remove the control that presents a slide-out buttons like the PlayStation consoles, including the shoulder button next to the body of the phone so close to the volume button.

Interfaces
Users will get the Xperia Play interface similar to other family members Xperia. This phone has five home screen can be selected as desired, including Timescape widget that displays update Facebook and Twitter as well as incoming messages. To select one of the five existing home screen, users simply need to swipe to the left and right.

Users can set your phone to automatically activate the features of the Xperia Play with only sliding console of his slides. But if you do not want this application is activated, you just set it back in the phone settings.

Game
Xperia Play has 5 games pre-installed with Crash Bandicoot as the only game on the PlayStation Pocket is offering a special PS One games, while games like FIFA 10, The Sims 3, Star Battalion and Bruce Lee can be accessed at the Xperia Play featuring the game of Android Market.

Before being able to play one of five games available, you must download the game file in question is quite large in size. Make sure you have a good data package or connected with wi-fi access is tight so the download process does not last too long or fail in the middle of the road.

The console slides Xperia Play feels stable enough to be grasped. In addition, the game buttons on this phone is also convenient to be operated so that the user will have an optimal gaming experience.

Camera
Xperia Play include a camera with high resolution, ie 5 megapixels. Indeed, not to match the camera Xperia Arc which reached 8 megapixels, but the resulting image is quite satisfying nonetheless.

Colors and sharpness of images of photos outside the room was very qualified, as it always offered by mobile phones Sony Ericsson Other. However, users must perform a number of settings to get the color and sharpness of the same image when it is inside the room. It is obviously quite a hassle for the user.

Connectivity
This phone is equipped with multiple connectivity options like a smartphone on the market: Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth, and 3G/HSDPA. In addition Xperia Play can also be used as a portable hotspot like Froyo and Gingerbread Android phones in general.

What distinguishes the Xperia Play from 'cousins' Media Server is an application that allows users to access content in mobile phones in the local network, so that you can stream video in a larger PC screen simply by doing some of the settings.

Overall, the Xperia Play is actually quite satisfying as a smartphone. But the design is too thick and some game features a complex arrangement makes okezone think back to immediately buy this phone. Legal pretty disappointed that the Xperia Play is not able to meet initial expectations are so high. Especially with the tag of Rp 4 million, it would be more satisfying if you increase your budget to buy two devices smartphone and handheld consoles are different.

The following specifications Xperia Play:
